Employment Equity

The Commission provides a detailed description in its Framework Document of how it conducts compliance audits of employers.

The Audit Questionnaire constitutes the first step in this process. It allows employers to determine the extent to which they are meeting the requirements of the Employment Equity Act and Commission officers to make an initial assessment of employers' level of compliance.
