Employment Equity

Normally, the Audit Questionnaire is the first step in the audit process to determine the extent to which an employer is compliant with the Employment Equity Act. When employers are audited, they must complete this questionnaire and provide the Commission with supporting documents.

If your organization is subject to the Act, and you have not yet been audited by the Commission, you may benefit from using this questionnaire to evaluate your organization’s level of compliance.

You will then be able to take any additional measures necessary to achieve equality in your workplace for the four groups designated in the Act. This also ensures that a potential audit will go smoothly. Everyone benefits!
