  • Special Report to Parliament on Pay Equity– February 2001

Pay Equity is a human right. Human rights require that we treat others fairly and avoid disadvantage to people because of characteristics such as sex, age, colour, disability or religion. This report reviews the rationale for pay equity legislation, assesses how federal provisions have worked up to now and suggests how those provisions might be improved.
