Are you interested in implementing best practices in your work environment and in building a culture that respects the dignity of individuals? Join us as the Canadian Human Rights Commission offers a series of free webinars. They will be available live, on the scheduled dates and recorded for on demand viewing.

In May, we will present the Duty to Accommodate, a four-part series.

The Duty to Accommodate:
Doing the Right Thing, at the Right Time, the Right Way, for the Right Reasons

We will look at what the duty to accommodate means. Important concepts such as bone fide justification, bone fide occupational requirements, and undue hardship will be examined. We will also provide an overview of policies and practices required in accommodation and the roles and responsibilities of those involved.

THE WEBINARS WILL TAKE PLACE ON THE FOLLOWING DATES:

PART 1: MAY 6, 2014
PART 2: MAY 13, 2014
PART 3: MAY 20, 2014
PART 4: MAY 27, 2014

English webinars are from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. and French webinars from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. EST

To register to one or all four parts of The Duty to Accommodate Webinar Series please send an email with DTA Webinars in the subject line to: prevention@chrc-ccdp.gc.ca.
