The Commission continues to work on acknowledging and actively dismantling systemic racism within our organization and Canadian society.
As the start of the summer brings numerous celebrations that provide opportunities to reflect on who we are and the values that bring us together, the heads of Canada’s human rights commissions at the federal, provincial and territorial level issue the following statement.
Day of Dialogue between Federal, Provincial and Territorial Ministers responsible for human rights & Canada's human rights commissions, as well as partners and stakeholders
This page sets out the Canadian Human Rights Commission's three-year forward plan for employment equity (FY 2021–22 to FY 2023–24). The plan will guide the Commission's work with federally regulated employers to ensure compliance with the requirements of the Employment Equity Act.
The Commission is made up of a diverse group of people, many of whom have lived experiences of the very kinds of discrimination that the Canadian Human Rights Act exists to protect. We are dedicated individuals who care deeply about uncovering and eliminating discrimination and racism in all its forms.
